The practice produces a deep state of relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety, restores inner peace, and enhances physical and emotional well-being. It is also used to manage illnesses, including anxiety disorders, depression, heart disease, high blood pressure, and sleep disorders.

Starting on Monday, March 8, Ashleigh Diserio will lead a series of four guided meditations.

The schedule is:

Mon March 8 @ 7:00 PM EST: Relinquishing the need to control

Mon March 15 @ 7:00 PM EST: Redirecting negative emotions

Tues March 23 @ 7:00 PM EST: Energy of gratitude

Tues March 30 @ 7:00 PM EST: Letting go of conflict

Meditation is your private retreat from the problems of the world. Anyone can do it. No special clothes. No particular postures–and you can meditate anytime, anywhere. This series is excellent for people looking to learn how meditation can help them in daily life and those interested in maintaining a regular meditation practice.
