Welcome to our team, Meg!
Ashleigh Diserio Consulting is honored to welcome, Meg, to our team. We are thrilled to have her on our team.
Meg hails from Maryville, Illinois. In Dec, she graduated from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Criminology & Criminal Justice. Recently, she moved to the DC area to pursue a Master’s in Forensic and Legal Psychology at Marymount University. She is thrilled to discover all of the opportunities Washington, DC has to offer in the field of Forensic Psychology, as well as explore a new city.
Meg has conducted research on the effects of parenting styles on children's future parent behaviors. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society, Psi Chi, and Kappa Alpha Theta. Volunteering is a passion of hers. She has volunteered as a Vacation Bible School Leader, with Little Bit Foundation where she delivered clothing and school supplies to students from low-income families to break down the barriers that prevent them from reaching their fullest academic potential, and with the Child and Family Psychology Initiative where she helped plan an art therapy and graduate school panel which provided opportunities for undergraduate students interested in children-centered careers.
After graduation, Meg hopes to have a career where she can use her psychological expertise to assist law enforcement in investigations and provide insight from a psychological perspective.
Interesting tidbits about Meg:
1. In her free time, she loves to cook, try new restaurants, learn new skills, and watch true crime television or the Food Network.
2. Meg enjoys playing and listening to music. She can play nine instruments, two of which were self-taught (impressive)!
We celebrate having Meg on the Ashleigh Diserio Consulting team and look forward to her contributions. Help us welcome Meg by leaving a comment with a piece of advice you wish you received as an intern or maybe what your favorite restaurant is in the DC area!
